As a photographer in Budapest, I often have the chance to witness some truly unforgettable moments. One of the most special experiences is helping someone plan a surprise proposal, and recently I had the pleasure of assisting a man who wanted to ask one of the most important questions of his life at the beautiful Fisherman’s Bastion.
He contacted me before their trip to Budapest with a simple but meaningful idea: he wanted the proposal to be a complete surprise and hoped to capture the moment with professional photos. Together we planned every detail: the location, the timing, and the exact spot where he would go down on one knee.
And when it happened, her surprise and emotion were incredible. A moment full of joy, laughter, and happy tears.
And she said yes, of course.
Being able to capture and help organize moments like this is one of the most rewarding parts of my work as a photographer in Budapest. A proposal is a once-in-a-lifetime memory, and it’s always an honor to help turn it into something they can relive forever through photos.
